For people just starting up, there is always the voice screaming, "not
enough money for an outside office." But listen up! I am TEN TIMES
more productive here than at my home office. This, in turn, serves my
company and my investors' investment better. Friends respect the fact that
"you are at the office" and no longer call you during working hours to
pick them up at the airport, or at the garage where they're getting
their car fixed. Roommates don't stop in to chat, as they do at my
home-office. Even phone calls are shorter when people hear you speaking
softer because you are "at the office." And...although there is a great
little kitchen and beautiful fridge here, I am less likely to go looking
in it every time I can't find the right word, as I often do at home.

Finally there is a cool space where independent professionals can call home and not worry about too much overhead or commit to a long lease. When I first walked into BLANKSPACES I was immediately impressed with the vibe. The design of the place is gorgeous and super utilitarian. They truly thought of everything. From a single space to plug in a laptop to a conference room to hold meetings in. The environment is inspiring and comfortable.
